Terms of Use

Effective October 27, 2026. samiannone.com is the personal portfolio of Sam Iannone, an individual based in Arvada, Colorado, USA. Contact: sam@samiannone.com. By using the site you agree to these terms.

What this site is

A portfolio about my education, projects, ventures and volunteer work. It is for general information only. Nothing here is an offer to sell anything, and nothing here is professional, medical, engineering, safety or financial advice.

Student and early-stage projects

Several projects on this site are student work or are still in development. In particular:

• AvAlert is a prototype in development. It is not a certified safety device. Never use it, or anything on this site, to decide whether avalanche terrain is safe. Check the official avalanche forecast, for example from the Colorado Avalanche Information Center, carry proper rescue gear and get avalanche training.
• Iannone‑Myers devices are student engineering projects developed through the NASA HUNCH program. They are not medical devices approved or cleared for clinical use. Mentioning NASA and other organizations describes a program I took part in; it doesn't mean they endorse this site.

Purchases and refunds

Nothing is sold on samiannone.com and no payments are taken here, so there is nothing to refund through this site. Products from my ventures, such as Sleeper clothing, are sold on those ventures' own websites, and their own terms and refund policies apply. If you're unsure where you bought something, email me and I'll point you to the right place.

Who owns the content

Unless noted otherwise, the text, photos, artwork, logo and design of this site are © 2026 Sam Iannone. You're welcome to link to any page. Please ask before copying or reusing my photos, artwork or writing.

Names and logos of schools, universities, news outlets, programs and other organizations belong to their owners. They appear only to identify where I studied, what I took part in or who wrote about my work, and they don't imply sponsorship or endorsement. News articles are summarized and linked to their original publishers.
