Effective October 27, 2026. samiannone.com sets no cookies. It has no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and that's why you don't see a cookie banner.

What the site saves in your browser

Two small settings are saved in your own browser's storage, never sent to me or anyone else:

• si-intro (session storage): remembers that you've already seen the home page intro, so it plays once per visit. It's deleted when you close the tab.
• si-motion (local storage): saved only if you choose "Turn motion off" in the footer, so the site stays still on your next visit. Choose "Turn motion on" to remove it.

Both settings exist only to do something you asked for or to make the site behave as expected. Neither identifies you.

Outside services

The fonts, code libraries and weather on this site come from outside services (Google Fonts, jsDelivr and Open-Meteo), and the site is hosted by Netlify. They receive standard technical details such as your IP address when your browser loads their files. This site doesn't use them to set tracking cookies. The Privacy Policy lists each one.

Sites you reach through links, such as Instagram, LinkedIn or news outlets, set their own cookies under their own policies.

Clearing the settings

You can clear both settings at any time through your browser's site data settings. The site works normally without them.
