Iannone-Myers Engineering
I am the principal and a founding member of Iannone-Myers Engineering.
Iannone-Myers develops specialized medical equipment, including an Otoscope Adapter and Retinoscope Adapter designed for use on the International Space Station (ISS). This adapter enables flight surgeons and astronauts to conduct ear and eye examinations in the microgravity environment of space. The design emphasizes functionality and ease of use, ensuring effective medical assessments during missions.
We specialize in quality, craftsmanship, and ingenuity that can be utilized in positive ways for many people. Our main focus is to create biomedical devices that strengthen and aid NASA astronauts in more than one way. Our HUNCH project involved creating an otoscope adapter for the International Space Station, yet it has evolved to do so much more.
We hope our design will be used in the future to study the effects of zero-gravity on the ears, eyes, and nose to further scientific knowledge and to better respond to issues that the astronauts face.
We were invited to the NASA Human Research Program Investigators Workshop in January of 2025 to display our devices as one of just 20 high school health development teams internationally. Furthermore, our company was selected as a NASA HUNCH Finalist team for Biomedical and Health Sciences in recognition for helping NASA Human Research achieve its goals for the Moon and Mars program.

Avalert
AvAlert Technology
I am a co-creator and lead engineer for AvAlert.
AvAlert aims to create precautionary, early action avalanche prediction and detection technology. Utilizing acoustic sounding techniques paired with ultra-accurate sensors and a trained AI analysis, our device can estimate avalanche likelihood before the disaster happens, in real time as you ski. Filling this gap in the current backcountry technology industry, we aim to reduce avalanche deaths and be the solution before a skier gets caught in an avalanche.
AvAlert is a handheld device that is compact and perfect for any backcountry skier. AvAlert utilizes a variety of metrics gathered from onboard sensors, including snow depth, slope angle, temperature, pressure, humidity, altitude, and heading. AvAlert makes a prediction based on these data thresholds, stressing emphasis on slope angle. AvAlert will then assign one of three stability levels: stable, variable, unstable, preventing you from being caught in a disaster before it happens.
AvAlert is currently under development and testing and is expected to be fully released and worked out by the Spring of 2026. To learn more and follow our development journey, visit our website.

As a part of a self-led art exhibit and shop, I created and set up an online store with POS system and portfolio to display artworks and connect with customers with integrated checkout. I have received a showcase at the Jefferson County School District Annual Art Show in 2022 for artwork titled “Kurotoshira”. Through my platform, I designed and created over 50+ artworks, including on wood-mediums, canvas, and digital artworks showcased on a self-created online gallery. My art was recognized in 2022 for Merit for Outstanding Artistic Achievement for artworks created and sold through my website and company.
