Sam Iannone's Portfolio

Hello! I'm an 18-year-old from Arvada, Colorado, driven by innovation, creativity, and community impact. I co-founded Iannone-Myers Engineering, which works alongside astronauts and NASA engineers to develop biomedical devices — including otoscope and retinoscope adapters — for ear and eye exams aboard the ISS and on future Artemis missions to the Moon and Mars. I created AvAlert, an early-detection avalanche risk-assessment device that pairs onboard sensors with trained AI to estimate avalanche likelihood in real time, earning district recognition and patent filings. I also founded Sleeper, a ski media and clothing brand known for cinematic films and creative design.

A tennis player and outdoors enthusiast, I stay active on and off the court. I graduated high school as a valedictorian in my class with a 4.6 GPA, having completed 9 honors and 7 AP classes, and I'm now attending the University of Colorado Boulder as a Leeds Scholar, double majoring in Business Administration and General Engineering. My commitment to service shows through public art projects and as Director of Operations and co-founder of JABS Athletics, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit bringing free tennis and soccer to youth in my community.
